Great job, I spent years at a place in Flroida called Forte's doing restomods as my part time job. Your's is definitely one of the best I've ever seen. If you should ever have any questions give Dom a call he's more than helpful.

Very nice work and should be a great Mustang once finished. Sounds a little like my sons 67 Notchback Coupe in that he took it down to the unibody and treated all the metal, replaced all that needed replacing, primed it, reassembled it, and then painted it. His is done a bit more "old school" with a 351C, C-6, and a 9" rear end. Spoilers, Scoops, and fiber glass hood round his out.

My son's is also FOR SALE too, should anyone be interested as he needs the money to continue his post grad studies next year. HINT, HINT, LOL.

I can't believe the amount of time it takes to correctly build a classic car no matter how you do it. To do it correctly, (build it to the standards a car is built today) it takes so much longer. I have documented all receipts and hours spent on the car so far, along with photos of every step and problem along the way. I'm approaching 2500 hours of my personal time which doesn't include what i have paid a fabricator/welder and a painter/body shop. I am not rich, and every step along the way I have had to save for. Spending $100k+ on building a car just isn't easy to do. It's hard not to get discouraged but it's starting to come together finally. Hope fully i can get it ready to crank in a few weeks. UPDATES COMING!

Your build is coming along nicely. I love the wheel choice and the Keith Craft engine looks and sounds fantastic! I am building something similar (68 Mustang, R&C, 351W, TKO600) and I am having clearance issues. I will send you a PM.

or maybe not, cant run front brake lines while engine is in the car. Pulling engine to do this then on to body tweaks/ body work/ paint. Looks like it'll be a few months before i hear it crank again. But it'll be with paint.

Torn car back apart. Looks like the body man got back to work on it. Body work/ fitting/ gapping is done from the rear of the car up to the front of the doors. Hopefully he will get the fenders hood and front bumper gapped properly in the next couple weeks!

finally achieved paint stick and credit card gaps. Car is going into paint for first layer single stage paint to verify body work. As she sat a month ago.... (tighter gaps now and front fender flares are installed now)
