Really looking good!
I've been following since you started because I could tell this isn't just a swap but a meticulous conversion.
It looks like you put more work into the radio bracket then some put into the entire swap.
The radio looks perfect in that spot like Henry Ford intended it be there.
Wing looks good too. Like it was the predisesor to the 03 design.
It is without a doubt a meticulous conversion. Ive never been a fan of half-assing things, id really rather not do something at all, then not do it to the best of my abilities. Im hoping that when this is finished its one of the nicer examples of the cobra swaps.
My powdercoater is taking a little longer then usual to finish up my engine pieces. Once they are done the engines going back together and into the car so that will be a big step out of the way. Im hoping it will be running in the next few months. Most of the pieces are all here, just need some time and a little warmer weather currently.
You're doing a great job so far! I'm looking forward to seeing the progress updates. BTW, what did you decide on the IRS? I retrofitted an IRS into my wife's 98 Cobra and one into my 03 GT. With upgraded bushings--one has FTBR Delrin and the other has Prothane poly--I'm really impressed how good they handle.
I've been following this thread and just wanted to say
Awesome build you are doing there. A complete build up - amazing. I can't wait to see what updates you have next.
Thanks for posting all your pics here. Keep up the killer work.

Thanks Guys, Ive made some more progress but dont have to many pics to update currently.
The car is getting a roll cage, tq boxes, and a few other small things done in late April ( earliest he could get me in) so its kind of at a standstill until then. Heres a list of things that are ive done in the mean while though.
Suspension - Front hubs blasted and powder coated, new 03/04 cobra steering rack, and MM coilover kit all installed, so the cars is back as a roller again.
Misc. - Heater box installed. Hydroboost, prop valve and engine bay brake lines installed. I also re-routed the cable for the intercooler pump back through the ecu harness and into the cab towards the back of the car. Im plainning on going to a Chizzled Performace tank.
Engine- Well, that I do have pictures of, so Ill let those do the talking.
Cleaned the block and heads, fresh paint on the block.
Balancer cleaned up and painted and the oil pan cleaned up.
Water pump cleaned and painted, new o-ring
All the powdercoated pieces back on and new seals, new serp belt as well.
Then here is is pretty much all back together, new metco idlers, 4lb lower kit, PA alternator and a few other things.
Have the intake being powdercoated now to match the black, them the cobra engineering kit and the m122 blower and it will be all back together.
Ohhh man, your car is going to Rock! That engine looks s w e e t. Again, excellent perfectionist work there. I wished I lived closer so I could check it out. I bet you can't wait to here is run

If you have any questions, I have a 1996 Mystic that I did a full terminator swap on with a Kenne Bell Liquid Cooled 2.8 & much more on. I have all kinds of extra parts and what not. Don't hesitate on asking any Questions.
Unfortunately not much of an update, I haven't seen the car in quite awhile, one of the negatives about having to work out of state. The good news is I just rented a garage so Ill be able to bring the car down to me shortly and have some actual time to work on it again.
I'm going to the Goodwood Revival in England in September so a lot of my fund have gone towards the trip too. Project cars....
Oh well its still headed in the right direction and the majority of the parts are here.
Heres whats changed since last time.
Had the spindles powder coated
Gave the new hubs a few coats of paint
On the spindle
Also had the heat exchanger brackets coated
Mounted it to the bumper for fun
Put the strut back on to tie the front end together until I get the coil overs together and on the car
