The correct name of the color is strawberry red metallic clear coat.

Nice looking car but with a repaint and motor work I would definitely want to see it in person, vs an original unmodified car.

I hired a professional private transporter. He inspected the car reported back then delivered from Nashville to Chicago $500. The car that got dropped before mine was a gallardo. Honestly couldn’t be happier.

No love for the 4 eyes, Dubbs? I'd love a 79-82 or 85-86 coupe. Maybe T-top even. My first car was an '81 with T-tops (200ci straight 6, with a 4 speed) and I loved that car.

You and me both, my first mustang I drove to high school back in 1988, it only had 30K miles in this picture. I'd love to have it back...

I had a nice gentleman on this site go look at a car for me. He took tons of pictures and videos and gave me a full description. He was 100% spot on. If it is a car you just have to have and don't have the $1K to drop to go look at it then see if you can find a trust worthy person in the area to go look at it and give you a review and then go from there.

I have bought 3 cars sight unseen and all three were exactly as described because we communicated. Videos and Facetime do wonders. Asking for follow up pics of certain areas all help.

I like the interior better on the 87-93 model. Car just arrived at his place. He gave me his number.

I would have missed out on some nice cars over the years if I was afraid to buy sight unseen.
Learn what questions to ask, listen to what is being said, get lots of pictures, ask to speak to previous owners, get an inspector to go look at the car if you are still not comfortable, get a video, watch for a magnet test to look for repairs, etc, etc.
Some times a car with a story is just that. It doesn't mean that there are issues with it, you can usually figure out the truth by listening.
I recently bought a car and shortly after it got here a car that I have been chasing for sometime became available. So, sometimes that kind of stuff does happen but you should be able to figure all that out with some good communication.
