Long time, no talkie

Hello all,

I guess the snow has gotten to me and I've neglected to check in once in a while. Hope all is well with everyone. I plan on FINALLY doing a chip/pulley setup 1st thing...been putting it off WAY too long. Would definitely like to attend a Mod-party soon...havent' been to one yet and only met some of you guys at Livernois during the subframe connector install/dyno day last year.

Spring Plans For Cobra

Will being doing a chip and pulley this Spring and looking to do 18 inch FR 500 or 2K R Chromes. Other than that can't wait to take the Cobra out of hibernation once the warm weather gets here.

Badass03svt, Which trunk mount kit did you go with? I'm looking at the Aluminum Taylor box. I'm going to call Mad electrical for the cables. There setup is for older gm cars but can be adapted to our car's.

the taylor alum box is nice. i just got that. not sure about the cable yet though. i have heard 2 guage is fine but i thought 1/0 welding cable was best... and the shut off switch is flaming river through the right tail light

Not much over here. Just werking my ass off and waiting for spring! I planned on doing the following mods but will have to see how my finances pan out...

MGW shifter with CobraBob gasket
Bassani X
Bassani headers – though I hear this is a pain in the butt to do! - mod party? ;)
Pulley and tune
CAI
Nittos.

Like I said, this would be about $2000 + for parts alone so maybe if Santa is nice it could happen ...

I will definitely do the MGW shifter!

Still Here!

MCT member signing in! Just been busy, my wife and I have a baby girl on the way, due 4/25/05 so my plans for the car are on hold! Although, I will be putting Sub Frame connectors and maybe Drag Radials to try and reduce the Wheel - Hop. Any MCT member have luck Eliminating the hop?

Thanks Tom Kent
