Any quick way to tell what gears?

I never checked, but the new car paper work I have for my 2012 doesn't say anything about the rear gear ratio. Can I assume I have 3:31's?

Or is there a quick sticker or something to see that states the gear ratio?

Put your vin number at the end there and it should give you your window sticker. Mine shows the 3.15's under "optional equipment" even though they are the standard gears.

You can also look at the door jam sticker -- at the bottom, you'll see a slot for 'Axle' with a code. For example, I have 3.73 gears, and I see a corresponding code on my door jam sticker of 'BB'.

Here is a web-page that will help you interpret the code on your sticker:

Your window sticker will indicate 3.55 or 3.73 limited slip axle ratio under optional equipment, if not you have 3.31's.

Perfect.

Mine says GG so it looks like I have 3.31's.

Thank you!
