Didn't think they would come out with a Paranormal Activity 3 after seeing the last one. What do you all think?

I thought the first one was pretty cool. The way it was shot and stuff. The storyline was ok too. Number 2 was just kind of there. Not that cool. 3.........If it is like 2 then get ready for a bag of doodie

Its not the best of movies but definitely one that brings out my childhood fears; demons. In the first one it was a clawed beast. In this one its a woman? I think?

only saw the 1st and it sucked, the trailers have all be very good at making it look creepy but when you go see the movies they fail to deliver.

The first one had a couple of parts that were pretty damn scary. Overall, it kinda sucked. The second one though, Im glad I downloaded it and didnt spend any actual money on.

Tough crowd. I liked the first one, and loved the second one. What pissed me off about the first one is that it was somewhat believable until the very end when her face contorted into a demon of sorts. Had it stayed normal and she just stared at the screen for a good 5 seconds, it would have been much more creepy. I love scary movies and often times than not, they are way too fake to be scary at all, but these films have a sort of realism to them. I don't know much about movie production or special effects, but the things they do in these movies leave me thinking "wtf?". I like that. When I saw PA2, there were people leaving the theater in a dead sprint. That should say something.

To the people talking shit on the movie in this thread, how did you feel about the movie The Sixth Sense? Did you think it sucked? I'm just trying to get a grasp on your movie criticism. I felt 6th Sense was an awesome movie. It is very hard to get a scary movie and do it correctly because people are so skeptical on the matter.

I do not believe in ghosts or spirits, but I would love to be proven that they exist. For example staying in a haunted house and experiencing it first hand, with camera equipment constantly on record.

i like movies that make me jump or at least whoever im with jump i saw the first one at the theaters after all the hype and i think you could literally feel the tension in the theater after all the hype. was it the scariest thing ive ever seen? no but it was a fun "scary" movie to watch. plus this comes out around halloween time so its a good timing for me. ill go watch it why not.

I guess I'm in the same boat as you for the most part. I don't believe in ghosts so having a movie where the ghost just comes out and says "RAAARRR" will have me like :bored:. There's something about Sci-fi and certain action movies that I don't like. For example the first Transformers movie, I really enjoyed how they tried to introduce the main characters to these beings from another world. But the 2nd one, they just had these aliens chilling in the living room like it's nobody's business:shrug:. Just can't buy it. Same with Harry Potter and other garbagey movies. But the PA movies are alot more acceptable imo. They just have these ordinary people in an ordinary real life setting. Then a bunch of crazy stuff starts to happen. Next thing, I'm checkin' in closets and under beds just to make sure:lol1:....:dw:

Only thing that really kept me watching the 2nd one was the chick from part one in a bikini..kept hoping the ghost would rip it off lol. But really i dont see this one doing so well. Im sure it will get a bunch of people to the theater the first weekend then after that i expect the dvd to be on shelves in 4 months.

PA3 is coming because people pay to see them. It doesn't matter if you love the movies or not, they make money. I honestly enjoyed both PA and PA2, and will watch PA3. Although, it will be from Redbox or Netflix, not the theater.

At least they are sticking with the same family by doing prequels every time.
