New race track 20 min from home was finished this year and it's been a ridiculous experience so far. Many professional drivers coming to help with the training. Anyway on to a few pics

I got to co-pilot in this gt4 cayman clubsport with one of the top Porsche race team drivers for 10 gut wrenching laps (beat a 918 spyder by 4 seconds)

By far the most extreme ride I have been in. Driver just finished racing in ferrari challenge cup. And just signed a contract with Porsche.

And a few other random stuff

Not sure how to embed video properly. Phone also kept cutting out the video so I only have short clips and didn't get full track yet.

Thanks! The viper is a family car which won't be going anywhere. It's too reliable for track duty:)

Nice photos. I love that GT4 Cayman.

The owner also owns a 918 spyder, huracan spyder and a 488. Seems like the gt4 clubsport is the only car he's interested in driving since he got it.

That looks like a nice facility. Some cool cars out there too.

I'd be in trouble a lot with a quality track like that only 20 min away.

Is it an open to all track of one of the California type "Snooty Members Only Track" that charges 50K to become a member and 8K per year to stay a member?

Snooty rich man's track. Memberships are at 35k cad right now and will bump up to 45k pretty soon. $2500/year costs but guaranteed 15 track days per month.
It was designed by indy car driver Jacque villeneuve

Yea haha it's going to be VERY expensive but there are no quality race tracks even within a days drive of me so it'll be worth it in the long run.

Plan is to race spec miatas to keep it cheap and competitive.

Nice track. The spec Miata races sure are entertaining . Good door to door, bumper to bumper racing.

Mosport is only a hour and 15 min drive away from me. Thank god our track days are reasonable. This year was 280 cad for the day. First time I went 15 years ago it was 180 cad for the day.
