WOW did I have a blast! You guys are a total hoot! Wünderkind and I thank you for your hospitality, your company, your shade, your beer, and your food. It really helps out those of us on the lower end of things.

Special thanks to Bruce for the shade for my dog number one, and number two for the frosty cold beverages which accompany good conversation after a track day.

Mark/Jeff, how do I go about becoming an instructor with your group? I would like to give back to the hobby and the people that have meant so much to me. I would feel comfortable taking a 1st timer out at GingerMan, at this point in my driving career.

Ken, thanks again for your patience on what turned out to be my best lap on the South course. That was the only time I could really turn it on for a full lap.

My pics are available to all with the stipulation that you give a photo credit to John Preisler if used commercially.

Have you seen this man? He is wanted in three states for transporting under age boys at high rates of speed while being chased by WV State Troopers in excess of 105 MPH. :D :D :D :D

Argricultural Excursion excluded!!!)

I have tons of Video that I will edit down ... I know I was
trapped behind and held up by a bunch of you guys and
should have some nice footage ... LOL

Bruce,

At least your wheels should match!

Trust me, I would much rather have run the CCW's in the back. It would have saved me quite a few pounds in unsprung weight! :dw: But I did not come well enough prepared and that's the price you pay making rookie mistakes.

I wasn't about to run the Nitto's knowing that there was a very slight chance (albeit small?!?!) that I could have pulled off the unthinkable? ;-)

So my car looked a little riced out? It was the tires I was concerned about?!

 :coolman:

Hey, he's doing the "Fred look". I've frequently been known for mismatching wheels since I bought some CCWs last year. Bruce, I'm glad to see the fad is catching on! :pepper:

Ken,

I dunno....if I still have the car at that time, I may try to do VIR (full course) July 4 timeframe or the Apex event at the Glen in August just to shut up Freddie, he's really whining about it....I didn't know he was such a whiner. :cryying: :cryying: :cryying:

Hey, you "hooked me" on the Johnny Mac show last year and I want to see an encore performance! :pepper:
And what's this about MY whining??? You're the one always complaining about your cars, etc! :whine: :whine: :whine:
Now behave yourself before I get King Cranky (aka RD) in here to smack you around! :bash:
See you at the Glen ... no ifs, ands or butts!

I just want to let all of you guys know how much it hurts to miss The Glen event this year! :( My construction project is preventing me from going! :cryying:

There are not too many things as entertaining as "The Johnny Mac Show"! :pepper:   I will miss that equally as much as driving around The Glen with my hair on fire bouncing the car off the rumbles in the Bus Stop!! :D

There is No Doubt I plan to return to The Glen next year, hopefully coupled with a Mosport event?

 :coolman:

Fred, Bruce,

If I recall correctly, you didn't even get the full Johnny Mac show, you got the "Johnny Mac Light" version. You missed the good stuff a couple of events before. Full Blown JM requires Johnny Walker Blue.

I do whine about my cars, cus I'm broke right now. yer right Fredo. my bad.

IMPORTANT!!!
Now about the Glen...just an FYI, the whole track has been modified for the upcoming Indy Series in September. Many reference points that folks have used are now gone.

They have moved all the armco away from the track, they have installed all new turtles in the corners and SOME WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR!!!! Stay off the rumble strips in turn 2 going into the esses, they will ruin your tires and wheels!!! Whomever you run with will probably discuss this ad nauseum prior to running.

Turn 1 is now paved in the runoff area, no more kitty litter or foam blocks.

Also, the boot is different. They must have removed thousands of tons of earth, as you approach the boot you can now see all the way across to the sole of the boot!

Turn 9 (off camber left) is opened up, they moved that little fence away from the track, its actually better there.

They have installed the Indy safety fences in some turns that kind of envelope the track overhead.

Nothing anyone should be scared about, we adjusted fine after one session, but it is different, just wanted everyone to be aware.

JM

Oh man, STOP!!!! You're killing me already!!! I seriously think I have to stick with the "Light" version because I'm not sure I could handle the "Fulll Blown" version?!?! :pepper:

How far away is the nearest medical emergency facility??? Because I could have a heart attack real easily!!!!
