Thanks, I started working on three new ones last week, be on them untill the end of july so they should be airing around August. Well two of them anyway as I think they're holding one for the superbowl.

Thanks, he was the hardest one to do so far, because you can't stretch the beak around or it looks fake so you have to get all the expression with the eyes and cheek area.

My wife and I are on the upper end, but we pay our dues in a fierce kind of way with outrageous work hours and job stress.

Weeks can go by without driving the Cobra, simply because there isn't enough time left over in the day. :(

Just saying that anything good in my life has come at a price. I imagine this is true for most.

Well put Pyro, it seems like I had more money to 'spend' when I was earning less. Now I need to make more to keep up with my insatiable need for new gadgets, traveling, car mods, wifey :) and just general consumerism. Life can be ironic
But its all good in America

I'm a lowly electrical engineer. I design 161kV and 500kV substations. No worries, though, I'll be marrying a pharmacist here in a year or so.

I am a manager at Pac Bell. 27 years old. $65,000 a year salary. Not the highest paying job but I have lots of time to play with my toys. Oh and being single with no kids helps alot in the money for toys field.

You deserve more than 40K, that's for sure. Teachers deserve far more credit and compensation than they receive.

Yes they deserve more credit, but they really work about 6 months out of the year, so over a calendar year its $80k, which is not too bad....that's a great job for two reasons: you can make a difference with alot of kids, and you can do something fun for work during the summer be it selling cars, working outside landscaping, etc...

They're following the rule of "Own the best house you can and drive the worst cars".

It's hard for us car nuts to follow that rule. But I suppose I could've bought a Vette or a Porsche and I didn't. I restrained myself and got a Cobra. The best value IMO.

This thread has been interesting. From what I gathered, most Cobra owners are:

- Intelligent
- Educated
- Wiser
- Hard Working
- Make decent money

Man....after reading some of these responses I think I need to get a job again. I quit my last grocery store job at the end of july (2 years exactly). I need some good ideas for a part-time job for a 18 year old college student. Most of the money that I'll make will be invested because I have no expenses besides gas. I'm an engineering major so something with that in mind would be great but then again I'm just a freshman.

Internship...Internship...Internship. They dont pay that well but it's a great investment in your future. What type of engineer?

This will guarantee you a job as soon as you graduate. Everyone these days seems to be an engineer or business grad. I interned for two summers (not engineering) before I graduated. When I graduated, I had 3 offers. Good luck.
