Average PSI

What is you average PSI with these type/similiar mods:
I am (Just got new Boost guage and was surprized at peak boost)
The highest boost I am seeing is 13 psi with 2.76 (BF N/S) full idlers, 74.5: Belt, intake, catted x, CB, and Boost bypass. ISnt this low?

you should see closer to 14-15. I bet you have some belt slip.

Full BF idlers (4) and a belt so tight that the first time I put it on, it broke my breaker bar.
What else could it be that is making me have low boost?

With that low of boost on a ported blower? Understandable for less boost with a 2.93, are you hp and tq numbers good?

I hit 14, it looks like it will amost hit 15 sometimes, but it never does.

I see 13 to just over 15 psi. It depends on air temp, cooler air you should see 1+ more psi.

People are too caught up with boost numbers. Lots of factors affect boost, including temperature, air density, altitude, corrected altitude, exhaust backpressure, and many others.

I just drove my car for the first time after the header install, I havent went full boost yet but I will let you know.

I am only seeing 11, maybe 11.5 with 2.93 and 4 idlers. :nonono: I think I am getting belt slip up top, but that is the tightest belt I can fit on the thing. Was hopeing to see around 13psi. :shrug: Maybe because of this hot weather I am loseing a bit of boost. Car was tuned when it was 10 degrees out. :uh oh: Edit: had the car out yesterday and had 12psi when I went from 6th gear to 3rd on a highway pull. :rockon: I'm gettin' there.

I see 14 with my 2.76 and 1 idler. Also who says the gauge is dead nuts accurate? Ive seen cars with the same setup as me showing between 13-16psi.
