how was you mpg on those? The car really shines on 14-16hr drives, I've made a few now and enjoyed every one.
Bad, somewhere in the 10-12mpg range. Then again, I'm usually +20mph where I can/could be and on the throttle a lot. Just over 200 miles per tankful on my drive from MO to NY but that has since improved, a hair.how was you mpg on those?
thank you. i plan to do some performance testing tomorrow with race fuel, but on an unprepped surface. my butt dyno says this car is right with my zr1 up to around 150-60mph. more and more impressed by the trans as I drive it as well.Your review was about the most thorough I've read, and you hit on the areas most really care about. As you become more familiar with it with more seat time, you should update your review. I'm sure others in the future considering a GT-500 will benefit from it.
I remember my brothers first Fox body in high school. It ran 14.2@97mph and everyone went crazy. Lololol. Today a v6 Camry can probably do that. Haha.Just be happy we aren't in the year 1980 with a Mustang GT touting 118hp with the 4.2L V8. LOL. 0-60 in 8.3 seconds. Some testers took 11+ seconds to 60. 17.0@85mph in the 1/4 mile. Your GT-500 is quicker from 60-130 than the 1980 Mustang Cobra was from 0-60. Aren't today's high performance cars awesome?!!
