I have seen nice original (lower mile) and nice restored 71-429's regularly hitting the high $30K's and some into the $40K's but that is where they were 3 years ago when I sold my cars. It does not seem like these cars are leaping up as many other 70 and earlier cars have. I have seen "some" BOSS 351's go a little higher, but they have not appeared to leap either as some of the 70 and earlier cars have over the last 2-3 years. And anything low compression (after 1971) seems to be not be climbing much at all, even the 72 R-Code, which most people aren't even familiar with. $40's for these cars seem to be low especially with only 1255 429CJ's and 611 429SCJ's built in 1971 only.
