After purchasing the car in May from Tony (Blueline), I finally got the new wheels and tires on last week. The day the wheels came in I had them mounted and balanced and put on the next day, was very excited to see how these looked on the car. After seeing another member's silver car with these wheels I had to em, I went with Gunmetal Grey Forgestar F14s 18x9+20 in the front; 18x11+23 in the rear. I have never seen a DSG with these wheels on them so I thought it would be different and I think it looks great, they are very close to the DSG paint too which is a cool look. Was originally planning on going with gloss black but was talked out of it by Sean (Woody6799) and it was the right call for sure...black would have been awesome up close but hard to distinguish all the detail of these wheels from a far. As for tires I went with 265-35-18 Toyo T1 Sports for the fronts and 315-35-18 Toyo TQs for the rear. So far, they have been incredible tires compared to what was previously 11 year old factory rubber on the car. Nice to know the mint, low mile stockers will be tucked away in storage and these wheels/tires are installed and ready to put the power to the ground. Next is full alignment and off to Kevin's for the tune...will update with another thread with pics/vids and numbers. Here are some before and after's of the car with my shoddy camera and piss poor camera skills...

Howey Industries. No complaints, just have to be patient as they take time. Took Forgestar the full 6 weeks to build em.

Looked nice before. Looks even nicer after. Nice wheel choice. Love your Cobra. Being DSG certainly helps the awesome factor. :)

YEP, this sums it up. I am hoping to order a set later this year. I have been bugging my wife for a while, but I haven't cracked her yet... So for now I am super jelly.
They are quality wheels, I say go for it.

I only like chrome on dsg cobras but this may have changed me!! Looks sick man!
Thanks a lot! I will never go chrome, so my decision was easy.

I like it. Well done.
Thank you sir
