I'm in need of a drag radial size 305-30-20 (27.2" tall) and I'm not able to find any in this size.

My car is lowered so I'm really limited in running a taller size than the 305-30 I have now but I may not have a choice.

What tires are people using with 20" wheels that can work best on the street??

I NEED TO STAY AS CLOSE TO 27.2" TALL TIRES TO AVOID ANY RUBBING AS MY CAR IS LOWERED...THE MT'S ARE OVER 28" TALL AND WONT WORK

Anyone run Toyo Proxie 888 ??? the closest size is 315-30-20 which is 27.6" tall...This may be my only option...

Mickey Thompson makes the best drag radial for a 20" wheel.

model: 3727R

size: P305/35R20

weight: 36 lbs.

compound: R2

rim width range: 10.0-12.0

suggested rim width: 11

tire height: 28.9"

Your other choice is the Nitto NT05R

I have the Toyo 888's in 20" on a 10.5" rim. They fit, my car is lowered. No fitment issues. Can't comment on the grab/bite on the street yet. Have not really drove the car with the new set-up.

I run the R888's in 315/30/20 (11 inch) on a lowered car with no issues.
I haven't taken this car to the track so no comment there. But street use they do better than most for 700 ponies. I will say I like the twisties and these tires rock, but then again they're a road course tire not a D/R
