Best Rear Gear Ratio for 1/4 mile

What would be the best rear gear ratio for the 1/4 mile with M&H racemaster drag radial 325/50r15(height is 28 inches)mounted on 15x10 Bogarts?
3.73 GEARS OR 4.10 GEARS

I think a 4.30 gear would be too low of a rear gear and too many rpm's on motor at the end of 1/4 mile.

I run 373s running a 305 45 18... I would rather have 410s... Imo 410s are better

im 28 inch tire 4.1 ratio and run 132mph 4gear rev limiter

Stock motor with tvs supercharger with stock pulley or 2.9 whipple with 3.25 pulley.

No doubt 4.10s.
4.30s would prob be perfect but...

is it a dd or mostly a track car. 373 for dd an 410s or 430s for track car for limiter raised.

Nothing less than 4.30s we ran much more gear on drag week. JEFF

With the TVS or Whipple you will run out of RPMs with the 4:10s. I do with a ported stock blower. 5th is useless on the strip.

If you are at or above 600rwhp, the 4:10s are too much gear on a stock tranny. I need to change to 3.90 or 3.73. The 4.10 were great gears until the ported blower and 2.2 pulley were added. Now I bump the rev limter before I cross the finish line.

FWIW Shifting at 6400RPMs I was able to make it through in 4th on 4.10s/26" tire/545whp.
