Hello Everyone,

Well, it was a great weekend. On Friday there was a get together here. The 4th Friday of the month a local car club hosts a get together. So, I asked my Dad and my brother if they would go and they both came out.

I had my Dad take the 57 Thunderbird and my brother brought out my Dad's 57 Chevy (some of you may remember this 57 Chevy from my diecast thread).

It was a blast. I really enjoyed hanging out with my Dad and everyone was loving the cars. Bunch of older guys loving the Thunderbird and the younger guys liked my 65. I started the 65 up a couple times and a bunch of people were on their phones taking videos of the start up. It was VERY cool.

Here are pictures of the cars.

My brother took this one. It's my favorite. Pretty sure I'm going to make this one a poster :D.

Then on Saturday the Fallen law enforcement officer association sponsored a car show. I was told about it Friday night. So, I went to spectate. I was unable to register because it was too late for indoor and I didn't want to parky my 65 outside. So, I'll try to make it out next year.

That would definitely make a nice poster, Glen. You should make 2 of them and give one to your dad for Christmas. ;)

^^^Great minds think alike Bob @CobraBob .

I actually thought about making 3 and giving one to my brother too. My Dad gave me the Thunderbird, but he also gave the 57 Chevy to my brother.

Your brother's air filter cover looks like it's on backwards.

Maybe a poster for each individual car? You can't see much of your brother's car in the pic you referred to.

Yeah, I noticed that too 98. I'll let him know.

My bro is the youngest, so him getting a 1/4 picture of his car in a poster should suffice LMAO!!!! J/K. I could go with the reverse angle for him, but I just don't think that picture is as nice or poster worthy.

Maybe a smaller version???? Maybe 11x17 or 18x24? Crop that goofy guy out? LOL...

Why not individual pictures of each car?

Not sure I have good enough pictures of the 57 Chevy. I already have posters of the 65 and Thunderbird individually. The 65 poster is hanging up in my man cave room and the Thunderbird.......I have a poster of it in my garage and I have a spare that I will be giving to my Dad for Christmas as well.

So, I was focusing on the "group" photo this go round.

These are the pictures I made into posters for the 65 and Thunderbird. I had them cropped and centered before printing:

Hello Everyone,

Point 1:

Went to a car show this weekend. I guess here in El Paso it is car show season weather LOL.

It was sponsored by the El Paso Corvette Club (EPCC). It was an open car show, so any make or model was welcome. All funds went to support a children's charity. If you wanted to be judged in the show and support the children's charity it was $20.

However, if you did not want to participate in judging you could just park your car and then donate whatever you wanted to the children's charity.

They had music and prize raffles and a 50/50 prize raffle. I just paid for the car show. I didn't buy any tickets. I never win LMAO!!!

Overall I had a great time. My Dad came out again and brought the Thunderbird.

Here are some pictures of the event:

This guys wheels looked very similar to my style. I looked and they are made by Budnik (mine are by Schott). I really like the spinner look that covers the lug nuts.
