why were you going lean up top? stock fuel pump?
i believe so
why were you going lean up top? stock fuel pump?
What were you racing??
Stock pump with Maxflow Bap, not sure why? I need to get a fuel pressure reading and go from there.
Im running ID1000s and a vortech non programable BAP and E85 and car holds the AFR all the way to 7500 on 8psi.
I have the same except for the programmable vortech and we turned up the voltage. Could it be that because I am at sea level?
On e85 Im at 1.1~1.2 lambda above 6800 to 7500 and on 93 its .81 lambda on all the way to 7500
that sounds like a tune issue. is that what is logged via livelink or just what your seeing on a wideband? Im only 1100ft above sea level so i doubt thats the case. What blend E85 did you tune on? if you tuned on winter blend then went to summer blend that will lean it out as well.
I know several people who claim the one e85 station we have is very consistant. On the 3rd or 4th tune revision I tested it persoanlally and it was 85% on the money.
e85 to 7500 on the stock pump supercharged is pushing a bit
gas or race gas 700/750 no problem,
I will be hitting you up after xmas for a return fuel system.
return system + e85 = stupid power and et's, lol!
i will be making some in the coming days if no Rain
Beefcake Special Paxton 2200sl kit stock pulley 8.5~9 psi
id1000's
Boss Intake (Lund Tune has it shifting @7000 rpms:shrug
Circle D 3C Converter
Stock exhaust manifolds with O/R X
3.55 gears
hoosier qtp rear & skinnies up front
This race was on 93 octane, I had it on e85 but kept going lean up top.
Hows the whipple feel? My only concern is the power falling off at the top of the rpms. Which im sure it wont but may not pull as hard as a paxton
