Boss 281 Mustang

Hey, I found one of these tonight, and it wanted to play, so I played with it a bit. I cant find any info on it though!

It seemed pretty fast, could keep up with me pretty good (in my 03 cobra with 2.8 upper, cold air, mid + catback, TB, dynoed 405/400 on mustang dyno)

It had 2009+ tail lights said GT on the side with BOSS 281 and stripes. It was pretty fast. the guy said it had a 4.6 and he had a "tuner" i donno exactly what he meant by that. I didnt get to ask if it was N/A or not. i didnt hear anything. it looked pretty new.

Anyone have ideas or links to what this was?

I think Galpin did a Boss but I think they said 302 on them instead of 281

it was more than likely supercharged if i had to guess to keep up with you. If its a 281 still a 4.6 and i dont see a n/a 4.6 keeping up with a pullied cobra

not an authorized ford car, someone "made" it their own version of a Boss... probably just a regular GT with graphics, if he kept up with you he probably had a supercharger on it.

Galpin Auto Sports does a Boss 281. Here is their 2010 281-R. Boss 281R Specifications - 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords

I would think a blown 09 would do more than just keep up with a pullied 03
