In preparation for the Texas Mile next weekend, 2.73 rear gears and a trunk mounted ice box were installed in my Boss this week. We also swapped to the ID1300 injectors from the ID2000s and it was re-tuned (Jon Lund).
It made 870rwhp with 18.5 psi of boost at 7300rpm (for those who care about dyno #s)
The air was good last night so off to the the track to make sure everything was working properly and it was shifting correctly at WOT.
Previous best on 10/9/2013 with 3.15 gears was 9.82@142, 1.55 60ft with the car weighing 3930lbs. No power mods were added since that run, just the tank, smaller injectors and gears. The tank did not have ice in it.
With a full tank of gas and 5 gallons of water in the trunk, the scale said 4020lbs!
