Sad to hear, but as of late, his hot rods sucked. What I think I hate most about it is that all these people that said that Boyd's cars were pieces of shit and how he did not treat his employees well are going to start singing his praises. Boyd did not seem like such a nice guy from his show, but who knows. My condolences to his family.

I'm with most of you guys, sad to see him go, but his work was not all that impressive, and the attitude he presented was less than mature.

Wow that's sad! I met the guy at a car show held at his shop and he seemed like a very nice guy. My wife and I got a picture with him too.

Yeah its real. Didn't really like the guy. But RIP.

true. he seemed a bit aloof. but he truly was an innovator in both wheels and hot rods. his early hot rods were amazing. i dont know much about his recent work.

sad day for the hot rod world. RIP
