It's been a narrow margin between stay and go. I'm actually surprised it went this way. Good job Brits.

I agree, I thought there was no way it would happen, but they are currently ahead by 1 million votes. Crazy.

Real political change is happening in our lifetime.

I sure wish I had bought even more UVXY. The VIX should be screaming tomorrow. It might be up 35%

But while the market is at the bottom I think I will buy a bunch of TQQQ. So when the Nasdaq recovers I will go up triple the market.

I'm kind of just hearing the reality of this. Anyone care to break down the reality of what this means for Britain?

The land of commies and socialists!
+1 for Sovereignty , way to go Brits.... **** people 3k miles away, unelected officials, making decisions for you!

This is something I never fully understood with the EU. Why the hell would a country give that much authority let alone any at all to someone who doesn't live there? I wonder if it in some way goes back to that region as a whole loving their socialism?

Good for Britain. This type of thing gives me more hope we will see positive change for us in November. This has to be a great thing for Britain given all the media outlets talking about how bad it will be.

Glad to see at least one European country still has a backbone.

It means a lot of things.

Britain can once again say and do whatever they want.
Britain regains control of it's own borders.
Britain can decide, all on their own who gets to come into their country. And even more important, WHO DOESN'T!
Britain can decide if a business deal with another country is good for itself and it's citizens.
Britain can decide who to sell armaments to, and when, and when the answer is NO!
Britain can decide when to allow the value of their currency to float up or down, and against who's currency.
Leaving the European Union may allow Britain to become Great Britain once again.

Work has been crazy lately, but I've heard rumors of this affecting our stock market...

Is this good or bad for us, or was that just some BS?

Edit, I see the futures.

- 2 to -3% today..

They've regained their sovereignty! I'm sure the socialists, progressive one world government types are crying the sky is falling this morning. Obama and his team are probably upset. It's a victory for the British people.

Germany should be next... they have the only sustainable economy in the EU and they get stuck bailing other countries like Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal out.. it does help that we subsidize their military though

Obama speech in the UK probably helped Farage (the independence vote) more than Cameron. Will be interesting to see which EU countries, if any, try next.
