Not 100% sure but I took my cobra to get tuned and my tuner called me saying he had to stop the Session because its making a loud noise behind the supercharger when its in boost.

So the tuner isn't really sure where the noise is coming from? What kind of loud noise is it? My first priority would be to determine the exact cause of the noise before assuming something is wrong with the blower.

True.. He did say that it sounded like rocks in a can ? Told him to see if he could figure it out but when I found out his hourly rate I told him I will look into it myself. Basically didn't want to touch my car unless I paid him. Which I understand. Any way ill upload a video so maybe some of you guys could help me out. Thanks

Sounds like rear needle bearings. You can fix it yourself for under 200 bucks in an afternoon. Or send it to john bond performance for a few hundred more.

Keep us updated. Depending what is "Busted" On the Whipple. it could be 800 for the rebuild. But if the Rotors are trashed. You are looking at over 2200 for a Rotor pack replacement + Possible case replacement.

So honestly, If its trashed. You would be looking at a fancy paperweight.

Anyways, Take a look at the link. He can help you out.

Box of rocks usually sounds like detonation.

If it is the blower send it to jon bond superchargers.

Send it to Jon Bond! He took care of mine and did it in a hurry. If you were making 600+, it could be your coupler. He said the "stock" coupler is good to 600, above, go with the carbon Fiber on my 2.3. Great guy to deal with, sends plenty of pictures, your broke parts and writes one hell of a report.

Mine was just eating oil, but he went all the way through it...
