Please explain, the '13 shelby is all new, to many the car that people finally wanted Ford to build, we're in Year 2013, so how's it getting old ??:??:

13 Shelby is in a completely different league than a z06, not sure if your mullet is cutting off the blood circulation to your brain to stop you from understanding and interpreting that. Get with the program chief.

And he meant its getting old because this is the 3rd or so thread comparing the 13 Shelby and a z06. Hell the last thread is probably near the bottom of this page or on page 2 and is like 10-12 pages deep already. Again not so sure what's so hard to understand hear and why your having trouble getting the picture.

The 13 GT500 has major traction problems when it somes to street racing ,no thanks to that outdated technology from the 80's Goodyear F1 tires it has .Put a Mickey Thompson Drag Radial 305/35/20 and re run him and see what happens .

Do they really get that bad of traction? On corvette forum it said they went 70-170 not many stock cars have trouble hooking from 70

600 rear wheel NA is gonna be one sick of a car let alone with a 150 shot on top, holy smokes. Can you post some pics of your car and build, would love to see it?

My C6Z after fresh build... Still needs to be tuned... - YouTube

Looks like the guy in the GT500 doesn't know what gear to be in. Do you know the mods of either car?

that vette sounded sick, but 630rwhp stang should of done a bit better than that if you had 507rwhp? Or maybe the 13 GT500 was sock, I dont know something just doesn't add up, but nice kill man.

You haven't raced a 500+++rwhp c6zo6 from a roll yet. Your not going to pull nothing with 630. Once those c6z start making 560 700 rwhp, you better be packing some serious hp if you want to roll race them.

Z driver seems to either work or live at a race track looking at his posts. Also the car has weight out of it, lightweight clutch, carbon fiber seats, cut outs. Probably some things I'm missing. I'm not a butt hurt Ford guy, I drive a CTS-V and would take a C6Z over a GT500. But something seemed off about this race and I'm just cutting through some of the BS of what looked like a mildly modded C6Z racing a stock GT500. I think it's a douche bag move to present a race so it both masks the advantages of one car and disadvantage of the other.

Good post! Kudos to you for your spirit of fairness and honesty! You put it all into proper perspective by presenting the "Behind the scenes FACTS" about a highly misrepresented video. Not to mention a stock 13' GT500 doesn't really make 630 RWHP unless the chassis dyno used is way off which many are......

In society today we all too often see the real facts hidden or misrepresented to promote an agenda. Shameful and a disservice to all IMO.
