I think the weather forecasts screwed everything up even though Saturday turned out to be fine. Attendance was absolutely down though, only 3 cars in my class and the S550 section had a lot of gaps in it.

If anyone else went and has photos, feel free to post them up here

I found @SID297 's old explorer out on the field. Not sure why but a couple of people told me the owner didn't want to show what was under the hood, despite the answer being all over the internet.

The 65 was for sale for $85k! The black 69 was a complete 13/14 GT 500 with a 69 body, very well done!

Yet another great Carlisle weekend. Too bad the forecasts were so wrong. Did work out in our favor that they were.

Agreed, it rained Thursday on the way down and Sunday on the way home.

Friday and Saturday were great, albeit a bit muggy on Friday.

Nice photos and some really good looking Fords there. I love the blue '71 Ranchero.

Yep, that's my old rig. That was a great truck. I've considered building something similar again in the next couple years.

View attachment 1491982 Saw this driving around.

Also, That red Lincoln Mark VII was LOUD! Sounded awesome.

I missed the GT on the track, that’s a member here from Mass.

I saw that excursion around the fairgrounds and out in mechanicsburg later saturday night.

I also heard one of the FGT's went into a wall or off the track, hear anything about that?

I'm still waiting to see the SVTP Trailer out on the showfield!

False. No spin or any issues of any kind. I exited the backside of the track as that is where our trailer was parked, was time to get it loaded. The other car stopped to open the gate, hence the delay to come back around.

makes sense, figured I would have seen it all over the net if it were true.

I'm guessing you own both cars?
