Not disgreeing with you, but If your kids are watching CNN or just about any news broadcast i think the content is more damaging than the language. The problem these days it seems is that people are more offended by the language people use more than the actions they perform.

They probably got a kick out of knowing that no one was going to expect them quoting that garbage on air. I hear you my friend. If that's the way CNN plans on rolling in the future, then they should at least issue a "strong langauge" warning prior to the start of the broadcast. At least that way, parents with little ones don't get ambushed like that. Personally, I don't watch any of the news channels. They've all become national enquirer-like and don't even report real news anymore. But I think that's pretty cool that you have your little ones aware of current events. :beer:

Your right it shouldn't matter. I like to put "human" when they ask for a race, but it seems everyone has quotas to meet these days. A USAF recuiter told a few guys i work with they HAD TO put in more minorities. Sad when you have to be a certain race now to volunteer to defend your country.

You can say that if you're white, it doesnt matter where in the world, you're white. I'm West Indian (Trinidad and Tobago) and Puerto Rican. I have my mom
s(T&T) skin tone. So I get looks and questions about where i'm from. They either think i'm from the Middle East, India, or South America. I always say im from the US (I'm from NJ) but say where my parents are from. It doesnt bother me as much, been hearing about it since I moved back here from PR 16 years ago.
