For a while now I’ve wanted to extensively detail the R. the car is relatively clean but I really wanted to bring it to the next level. After a lot of research and trying to figure out the right products, I decided it was go time. I placed an order to autogeek when they had one of their 20% off sales for basically everything I needed. As I do each section I will post all the products I use.

Im breaking the car into 5 sections to better focus on the whole picture
-engine
-wheels and wheel wells
-undercarriage
-interior
-exterior

The only thing I may have professionally done is the exterior as there is a good local guy that does great work and charges fair prices. Today I started with the engine

Engine detail – total time approx. 8 hours

Plastics and rubber- aerospace 303
Painted engine parts- duragloss 501
Raw metal- collinite 850
Underside of hood and engine bay klasse AIO

Looking good Billy Ray!

I did not know the throttle body had "Cobra R" stamped on the blade.

I've become a huge fan of 303. Leaves rubber looking new, with out any over shine

Great Job! Props to you for doing the whole undercarriage while it's up on jack stands.

How's your back/neck feeling?

Absolutely FANTASTIC! I plan on getting a lift sometime this year and will be doing the same thing. Your car looks great.

Very nice! I have never attempted to do an interior detail like you've done... I just washed, clayed and rewashed the cobra today. Tomorrow will be phase 1 of my exterior detail.

Just mounted the same Super Sports on mine but have not been able to put seat time in with a mix of rain and my work schedule. Let us know your impressions!
