Hey guys,

I will be changing the color on my lightning here come the begining of the year and still trying to narrow down the color I want. I think I have it narrowed down to two colors. Balloon White which is a Lambo color or Avalanche Grey off the new raptor/gt350.

Here are a couple pictures of a normal white lightning, sorry not my truck. Can we get the colors changed on this thing?

And here is an example of each color

I appreciate all the help. I'm just extremely awful at this stuff.

how about the new lithium grey on the 16+ f150's I personally liked that better than avalanche, which would be my 2nd choice.

I've seen a Lambo in their Balloon White and it is really an amazing "color" in person.

But I have heard that it is incredibly difficult to take care of. You can not polish it due to the flat top coat. All you can do is wash it. Very carefully.

I don't know how it would look if you finished the paint with a gloss clearcoat so that the finish could be maintained. Maybe have a paint shop make several test strips with different clears, a matte, a semigloss, and a full show gloss.

I can't really decide. I actually prefer the white just in color, but I think it would be a lot cooler in avalanche.

If it was my truck I would probably paint it in stealth, I'm in love with the color.

This isn't the exact gray you were thinking about, but it's close. It's a custom built/custom painted 1999 Lightning. PPG Aston Martin Casino Royale paint.

By 'flat top coat' do you mean 'matte?' If so, I believe that Balloon White is a gloss colour, while Bianco Canopus is Lamborghini's matte white.

More on topic, I think that Tacoma grey looks killer!
