I run the cord for my maintainer up from underneath and then put the cover on. No cord to worry about.

I typically just pull the battery out of the R during winter storage since it is so easy to do. Store it inside, cover the car and reinstall in Spring. Now on the Vipers, where you have to remove the rear tire and inner plastic skirt to get to the battery, trickle charger all the way.

I have started disconnecting negative cable. Then tossing tender on every month (or when I remember). This is for the 15+ year old cars exempt from OBDII scans. The newer ones leave them on the tenders.

If you have the slack, Id drop it down inside.

If it's going to be in storage for a while I just pull the battery out.

It’s in a heated garage so not an issue of being in the cold and losing a charge quicker.

I’ll probably tomorrow reroute it down under the car and put the cover on.

I do it anyway. I have a rack of batteries and chargers.

My Terminator sleeps in a heated garage for the winter as well. I run the tender cable under the car cover but place painters tape on the bumper where the cord touches the paint.
