Hey yall! Welcome to the SVTP coyote swap forum!
I'll be updated this initial post frequently as I have time with pictures, parts, info on my build.
I purchased the car in January 23 with the intention of coyote swapping. I drove the car once or twice before starting to tear it apart lol.
The plan was a Gen 3 coyote, T56, IRS, shaved engine bay, wire tuck, AC, power brakes, power steering, the whole nine yards. Topped with CCW D110 on 275 all the way around.
Here are some pictures of the progress along the way…

Such a bad ass build man! I was planning to go Coyote on my build but found a 4.6 with a Vortech setup and T56 for a deal I couldn't pass up! I too have an IRS in my build but it isn't yet converted to hard tail, what are your rear wheel specs on there? Also the front suspension specs to fit a 275 up there with stock fenders... any rubbing?

Thanks man! 4.6 is a nice swap too!
The wheels are as follows.

Front 18x9 - 6” BS (+25mm)
Rear 18x9.5 - 7” BS (+45mm)

No rubbing at all except up and down in bumps, I need to raise it slightly

I guess I'll have to hard tail my IRS to get to 7" BS on the rear... mine are 6.75" BS with a 275/35/18 tire and no rubbing with the MM low profile bolts. I will end up getting a custom set of wheels however when I get closer to the end.

Yeah 7” is good to go. I could do a little more but not worth it.

what does that mean?
Check out the pics from @poisoned apple above, the rear IRS subframe mount where it bolts to the stock frame rails on the 79-04 cars has a (stock) bracket with a rubber bushing where it bolts to the frame. As in the bracket hard bolts to the frame and the IRS cradle has a rubber bushing that is bolted into that bracket. That takes up space the tire could otherwise consume, as shown in my pic below from over the top of my rear tire.

A hard tail like shown above would give me another 1-1.5" clearance before I run into the coil over shock I think.... Either way, I can fit a 275 tire currently on a 9" rim, but the sizing is a royal PITA on a fox with an IRS.
