Eminem's first 2 CDs were great, do raw and full of emotion. Now he's just about the $$ and how many songs he can put Akon on.

I've been stuck on Death Magnetic pretty much since its release. I wasn't expecting much after St. Anger, but boy did they blow that pos out of the water! "End of the Line" and "All Nighmare Long" are my two favs.

Also popped in Lamb of God "Ashes of the Wake" album back in a few days ago, its great. I never was a fan of them, until I actually listened to them, their music is so precise and heavy, the lyrical style might be something to get used to (I like it personally), top songs off that album "Laid to Rest", "Omerta" and "Blood of the Scribe". I really do enjoy the whole album though.

Lastly is Divine Heresy "Bleed the Fifth" album. ****ing excellent! I can honestly say that I like every song on the album almost equally. If anyone hasn't heard them, check them out. "Bleed the Fifth", "Soul Decoded", and "Impossible Is Nothing" are songs I would recommend for people to check out. Their drummer (Tim Yeung) is awesome! The guitarist is Dino formerly of "Fear Factory" of anyone is familiar. Definately check them out. Though the lead singer quit the band after the album released.

Oh and a +1 to anything by Disturbed!

"I, Flathead," by Ry Cooder. I didn't like it at first, but now I can't stop listening to it.

I love these music threads cus it just shows me how old I am. Other than Fleetwood Mac, Metallica, Coldplay (which I like and I am NOT gay), and of course the greatest band EVER Pink Floyd, I don't know who in the hell these groups are...and I listen to a lot of newer music.

I like seeing Slipknot in concert and their previous albums are great, just can't get into this one, a little too soft for their style.

That being said, I am hooked on Disturbed - Indestructible right now.

AWESOME ALBUM AS WELL.....but it was def softner than previous as well....I alwys loved "The Sickness" My fav by far!

Hell yeah:rockon: I was listening to All Hope is Gone (the song) made me want to go outside and kick down the smoke pit...... But then I wouldn't have a place to smoke:nono:

But new stuff I can't stop playing

The mentioned above
10 years - Division
Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight

Old stuff

The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium

Sweet another Volta fan  Have you listened to Omar and Cedric's old band, At the Drive-in?

Eminem is the reason I am into rap/hip-hop. I have all his albums, they are all great.
He wont ever come out with a new cd. He was number one for so long and knew he couldnt top himself so he retired. When I say retire, he wont ever come out with a new cd again. He will prob keep producing or being featured on other rapper's tracks tho.

Dr. Dre, if he ever comes out with the detox, will blow everyones mind. I've heard leaks of it and it is like nothing else out.

Right now, I cant get enough of atmosphere. His new album "When life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold" is great. I'm still into Lil wayne quite a bit, the carter 3 hasnt left my cd player in my car since it came out.
I love umphrey's mcgee also, anyone ever heard of them?
