I like the choice of words lol…. “ bolster demand “ …… nah you mean gain ANY sort of interest! Cheaper you make something the most interesting it will gain to the mass consumers

The argument for EV pickups is so weak, it's non-existent. The RAM with range extender generator may be different as far as the utility aspect goes for light duty users, depending on what the actual payload and tow numbers look like.

Coming North out of the Twin Cities this evening. Mega volume Chevy lot filled to the brim with pickups. Tesla dealership lot packed end to end with inventory.

Doesn't take sales into account, but interesting data point anyway

Ford (NYSE:F) is lowering the price of its electric pickup truck between $2K to $5.5K to bolster demand for the F-150 Lightning amid competition from General Motors (GM) and slowing demand for EVs.

According to Bloomberg, Ford’s (F) “pricing action” will bring the cost of its extended range Flash to $67,995 with a price cut of $5.5K. The XLT is now priced $2K lower at $62,995, and the Lariat is $2.5K cheaper at $76,995. The prices for the Platinum and Pro are unchanged at $84,995 and $54,995, respectively.
Price cuts after raising the prices.... Okay got it.

RAM already selling 25's, most out of sync I have seen the pickups in a long-time model year-wise. The lot at the local Ford dealer is full to the brim but the inventory mix doing it is just wacky. Massive Bronco and SUV inventory

I wish my wife was more flexible on color, I bought the last red one in our area a while back, because there are smoking deals on the last 2.7 ecoboost Nautilus that will ever be made. That motor was dropped on the Chyna versions.

  • Ford guarantees dealers $15,000 for each Mustang GTD sold by dealers.
  • Ford does not appear to be discouraging GTD markups.
  • Ford will offer a concierge service for the $300k+ limited edition.

Interesting watching the local F-150 Hybrid market. The number of Lariat and higher trim has plummeted to less than 20 within 100 miles of me. Still a good supply of XLT and good discounts.

Just like the Ford GT, customers will apply. If if their application is granted, then they will decide on a dealership to have it delivered to. They will be sold at MSRP. Dealers will make $15,000 (5%).

If you know anyone that gets one and is getting the run around by a dealer, I'll gladly deliver it for them and handle everything :)
