Does any1 elses rear ford badge light up?

Maybe I'm just mildy retarted for not realizing this or either the folks I bought it from had it changed but the ford badge on the right side of the trunk lid lights up blue when I hit the brakes. I was riding the other day and 1 of my doctors happened to be riding behind me and he said it lighted up and I was like wtf I thought he was messing with me but it does.. Anybody elses like that???

I bought three of them, one in each available size. Got them over ten years ago from J.C. Whitney. No clue as to whether they are still available. Just in case anyone cares the one I stuck on the back of my 92 Explorer is still working fine.
