Hi,
I'm looking at replacing the mid pipe on this car with a catted h-pipe (I want to stay emissions legal) and I read that the stock pipe is 2.75 in diameter. I also read somewhere that the MRT pipe is actually smaller in diameter because it's made for the 11-14 Shelby's and the 11's-12's had a smaller pipe.

Can anyone confirm that the MRT is actually smaller than stock? If that's true, then I'll just stick with stock.

Thanks

Good that you posted the answer you found. Hopefully it will help others going forward who might have the same question.

I think the opening on the exhaust manifolds is also 2.5"
True 2.75" pipe does have more room for expansion.
