After getting the DSS aluminum one installed I took it for a spin. SOTP feels like a minor increase in accel. Anyway when coming to a stop from 3mph to 0 while in neutral, I feel a vibration under the floorboards of my feet. Do I need to reclock 180? Other than that I have no gear whine or anything else.

Reclock.
Try to reclock and if no difference send it back.

The driveshaft really shouldn't be spinning anywhere near fast enough at 3 mph to feel an out of balance shaft. You can probably read numbers off a shaft spinning that slow lol

You would think but mine had similar issues. It did the same thing but between 10-30 mph. After that it smoothed right out. Re-clocking did nothing to correct the issue so I returned it.
So this is an ongoing issue with the Aluminum DS? So I should return it? Or reclock first?
I had to reclock my DSS DS twice before I found no NVH.
You have three chances to reclock it. Try that before returning it.
OP- Did you install a loop at the same time? Just curious if the vibration you are feeling is bolt(s) loose on the loop.
no loop. going for a reclock today. 3 times? how does that make sense. 180 degrees twice is 360. can someone explain it to me
