Do you know exactly WHAT your getting into?

Its not just the eaton you need and swap it on. Theres a extensive list of parts your going to need. I hope you did or do some research before you do this.

Theres a good amount of us that did the swap and were glad to help you out if you have any questions.

Yep, read over the couple of main threads over at mach1registry.com . That will give you a good idea of what's involved. There should be one over there of a write up of how to do the bulk of the installation as well. Just look up member machgsxr and find his threads. Good luck if you do decide to go through with the swap. I love mine!

Yup....87 different parts right? - not for the faint of heart.

How do you like yours so far?

What are you making at the wheels? And i was told that i can run 5 to 8psi safely without forging and parts.

Haven't had it re-dynoed since I had it fully tuned. Totally untuned it put down 398 to the wheels. Should easily be over 400 now. Should be back at the dyno in a few weeks.

Yeah, the stock Eaton will put out 8psi. But "safely" is always subjective. Plenty have gone years on this setup, but others have grenaded. Anytime you add boost to an N/A engine, you run a risk.

Just make sure you keep the stock size pulleys and stay at 8psi on the stock motor....and who ever tunes, make sure htey are very safe with the timing and fuel, etc.

I, personally, would toss on a meth kit too...but that's me.

What are you making at the wheels? And is there any way to upgrade the pulley's? And what would i have to do?

That would be what im making to the wheels 405/378.

You can go with a smaller pulley, i think the smallest should be 3.2 just to be on the safe side along with a intake.

That should put you right around 440-450 mark and that would be the max hp you want to run at on stock motor.

BTW: my timing is at 15* to be safe also.
