Im looking into buying a used Eaton supercharger for my Mach 1. Its in great condition at a great price. Is it worth it? And can i port the supercharger?
Do you know exactly WHAT your getting into?
Its not just the eaton you need and swap it on. Theres a extensive list of parts your going to need. I hope you did or do some research before you do this.
Theres a good amount of us that did the swap and were glad to help you out if you have any questions.
Well the guy i might be buying it from says he has half the things i need and can give me a list with the rest of everything and prices. If i pick it up ill be getting the S/C for 600, which only has 11k miles on it. And yeah help would be greatley appreciated. lol
For 600 does that come with the plenum, throttle body, injectors, anything like that?
Yeah!
Damn man, that sounds hard to pass up haha! Good luck

Yep, read over the couple of main threads over at mach1registry.com . That will give you a good idea of what's involved. There should be one over there of a write up of how to do the bulk of the installation as well. Just look up member machgsxr and find his threads. Good luck if you do decide to go through with the swap. I love mine!
What are you making at the wheels? And i was told that i can run 5 to 8psi safely without forging and parts.
Haven't had it re-dynoed since I had it fully tuned. Totally untuned it put down 398 to the wheels. Should easily be over 400 now. Should be back at the dyno in a few weeks.
Yeah, the stock Eaton will put out 8psi. But "safely" is always subjective. Plenty have gone years on this setup, but others have grenaded. Anytime you add boost to an N/A engine, you run a risk.
Yeah thats what i was told. But as soon as i get the cash to forge my internals ill crank up that Psi. Do you know of any good companies or forged internal sets that you would recommend ?
Running 8psi with stock internals what should i be picking up in HP?
Stock pulley, stock intake you could see around 400-410. I made 405 at 103* weather.
What are you making at the wheels? And is there any way to upgrade the pulley's? And what would i have to do?
That would be what im making to the wheels 405/378.
You can go with a smaller pulley, i think the smallest should be 3.2 just to be on the safe side along with a intake.
That should put you right around 440-450 mark and that would be the max hp you want to run at on stock motor.
BTW: my timing is at 15* to be safe also.
Ur running on the stock motor and internals right?
