engine started clattering?

has anyone ever had a rocker work itself loose on thier motor? isnt a real bad clatter so i dont think its a rod.

Yes, there have been a few members that have had their cam follower "rocker" pop out of place. It is rare, but it has happened.

with over 100k i doubt im just now getting the tick

ive got the valve cover loose. do i have to disconnect the fuel line to get it out?

I assume its on the passenger side. You can probably get it out with the line in.. but its way easier to pull it with in not in the way.

yes. i got it off. nothing seem to look out of place.

did any feel loose when lobe was turned to release pressure?

i had one fall off..cyl#6 valve seat dropped causing valve to hit piston

i had the head tick at 65k than the replacement head also went bad at 205k so yes you can have the tick at 100k...dont feel bad its a manufacter defect not us beating on it....

everything feels tight. had my dad come by and he thinks its coming from the bottom of the motor. time for a stroker i guess
