Myself, the most I've ever won was $500 on a scratch ticket.
I know someone who won $1 million on a scratch ticket.
My next door neighbor won a Ford Explorer sinking a hole in 1 at some golf tournament.

Man, some of you guys have some luck, I certainly don't. I've won random stuff - hats, flashlights, camping chairs, etc at different events but nothing that was ever worth more than $25. It seems like anytime "luck" is involved, I lose money instead of win it.

I don't even know anyone who has won "big". My parents won $1000 on a raffle once. I know a few people who have won firearms but nothing that was worth more than $300-500. I had an uncle that won a few grand at a casino but over the years has probably "donated" 10 times that much back to the house.

I have to drive to a different state to play the lotto so I don't enter. Have never won a giveaway of any kind.

Well, I've won a LOT of concert tickets (I must have fast fingers). Best one was a ticket to a Cowboys football game, $101 cash, hotel room, and the airline ticket to get there. I won $170 on the penny slots. I've won a few raffles (gift card, gift basket). i went to a benefit for a cat rescue called Catsino night. Won two full length mirrors, two paintings, two pillows, two floral arrangements and a month at the YWCA and a bunch of other stuff. With my Mustang stuffed to the gills with my winnings, I looked like the Beverly Hillbillies driving home. :)

My brother was at the dog track a few years ago and bought two $2 scratch tickets from a vending machine, lost on both, bought two more of the same ticket, lost on both but in between another guy bought one of the same ticket and he kept looking at it, put it in his pocket, take it out and look at it again so now my brother needs to know, so he asks him if he won something good and the guy says I think i just won $20,000.00
So my brother bought the two before and the two after. lol!!! He was sick to his stomach and just went home.

I bought a mostly restored '86 T-bird 5.0 with 50k original miles from the engineering consultant where I used to work back in '07. $300. Cosmetically it was show-quality. It needed one small fix which only cost $150 or so. After a few months of driving it, a good friend of mine explained he was in a bad situation and his family needed a car badly. I sold him the T-bird for $450, sort of paying the good luck forward. His fiance took the car from him, kicked him out, and was offered some outrageous amount of money (relatively speaking) for the car by a Ford aficionado where she worked. I still don't know exactly what made an '86 T-bird so rare or desirable, but man I felt sick for a while after that one.

I also felt pretty sick in 2011 when I sold my '00 GT which I had between $45k and $50k in (was aiming for 8s 1/4mi) for $10k. I had just moved, and the job I thought I had fell through before I made it 800 miles. Moving was easy since nearly everything I owned was either wrecked in a flood in '10 or stolen in '11. Needed to sell the GT to cover expenses and bills until I had a new job. Got completely screwed down to $10k, said "screw it, I'm down to $500 to my name", and got a job offer the very next day.

I guess my bad luck creates good luck for others. I have many, many more stories.

Close family friend won 1.1 million when I was a kid, made all these promises to me and then went insane (literally) and vanished months later never to be heard from again lol.

I also have a friend who must be worth the 100mil range (chinese family money) and he wins 50k-200k all the time in vegas, laughs it off.

And me personally. Nothing

I won an XBOX at a grocery store raffle, about $100 total in pull tabs, won a candle and a gift card at a Pheasants Forever banquet last month, $100 at a work Christmas party, hats, jackets, other random stuff, and a Huffy Mountain Bike.

Have you or someone you know ever won anything big? A car, boat, money, house, vacation, etc.? My last ex won a cruise before we started dating. I won $50 once.

It was big at the time. I won a mountain bike in a raffle when I was 9. Seemed amazing. Beyond that, not much. I've won a kindle fire hd in a drawing at work
