Yes guys this is just a feeler thread. Now I know how these threads can be very frustrating but I'm comtemplating on trading my Black on Black 400A Package 5.0L M6 for a nice Termie plus cash. I'm on the verge of getting a shop built and have most of the money I need but would have to get a loan for the difference which is something I'd rather not do.. My car is practically brand new with 3500 miles on it and no problems whatsoever. Has 19 inch wheels, 6 speed manual, and the other stuff added with the 400A package like Ambient Lighting, Sync, leather, brushed aluminum interior pieces, upgraded steering wheel with controls for Sync, cruise control, and radio, plus Mach 500 sound system.. Car has a clear title(had saved up for it plus sold my 08 4x4 Tundra) so it's payed for. Person interested would only need to get a loan for the cash difference if loan is even needed. If deal was reached person would get the car with title in hand. I have no doubt top dollar will be needed for your Termie because I too will be in same boat. I'm a reasonable man so please make reasonable offers. Post pics and include details on your car as far as any damage, mods, mileage, ect... Remember, if deal is reached I will be the one to eventually take your word for the car's condition and only have that. Person getting my car will still have the peace of mind that comes from having a full warranty. So again, please be reasonable. I'm not expecting anyone to give away their car and I hope the same is expected from me.. My car was bought new and price was right at around 33,900 so please be realistic. I'm aware that nice well maintained Termies can go for above 20K so I'm gonna be fair as well. Again please PM offers and post pics of your car( so wifey can see the car as well) with detailed descriptions.. And guys no flame wars please. If interested PM me, if not, let the guys who are and myself see if we can work something out.. Here are some of the things I'm looking for as to not waste anyones time...

No wrecked cars please( need a clean, clear title).

No verts. Just not feasable where I live.

No Zinc Yellow.. Sorry. Nothing personal but I've just never liked that color.

Prefer 04 but low mileage 03s are not problem

As far as mods are I know they're not cheap but we all know how that goes so if thats a problem I apologize. But I can't justify paying outright for modifications since some guys actually expext to get a full return on them. In fact a low mileage original would be prefered but again, I'm reasonable and realistic so work with me.

Would like a ball park figure of about 10K give or takedepending on condition of Termie.

Again this is a feeler that I'm going to base my decision on pending what types of offers I receive.. I know quite a few fellas have traded in their Termies for 5.0s and got low balled so I think it could be beneficial to both parties if an agreement can be reached.. Remember I do have title in hand so that's not going to be a problem on my end..

Thanks for your patience and I'm sure others out there have had this dilemma and I'm sure can understand of what my situation is.. Car doesnt have to sell and I could just wait it out but I don't want to get another loan to get my shop built( just barely finished up on a 7 year note for my wife's Yukon plus a kiddo in college lol)..

I'll try to get some interior pics up ASAP so I apologize for not having any..

Thanks guys.. The way I see it someone gets a decent deal on practically a new 5.0L w/o the extra interest and I still end up with another hell of a Stang to replace it plus my shop.. A Termie is really the only car I would even consider replacing it with.. Oh and remeber fellas, the cash difference is not set in stone so make offers, you never know. I know there are some very well maintained Termies out there and understand how some prices get jacked at car lots on them as well... Dealers are ripping some guys new ones by offering 14K,15K on some nice trade-ins which to me is BS.. Like I said if your fair with me I'm gonna be fair with you... This car is cherry. Haven't so much as drilled holes for front plates.. And I live in Texas where it's required lol..

I'm also placing this on the 2011 Mustang section just in case.. Thanks again fellas..

That sounds great but in all honesty I think the gap between the 2010 to the 2011 is a bit wider than that. No disrespect.. Not to mention this car is only a few months old.. Like I said I don't really have to do this because i'm not in any sort of bind. But I'm also not in any real debt and it's quite nice.. I'd like to enjoy it a bit longer if you know what I mean.. glad u loved the Cobra but was there really ever any doubt? have u driven an 11 yet by any chance?

sounds like a good move if you can find a clean terminator as they are getting more difficult to find but are still out there. Based on blue book values I would think you could get 8-10k plus a terminator.

Yea that's around what I figured. And it really would be fair to both parties like this.

OP just be honest and admit that you rather have an 03/04 instead of a 2011....

There is more to a car than how new it is.

IRS + built blown motor V. 5.0L N/A SRA.....

Unless you have the electronic doodads and brembo's then I am not sure why someone would give up a termi.

Not the case at all. I paid cash for my car. I could have easily bought a Termie but the day to day usage was my dictating factor.. The car is right there in performance.. It's in comfort where it's not even close.. But like I said im really close to having everything lined up for my shop and the Termie is the only other car I would think of replacing it with.. If I didn't need the money ASAP, I wouldn't even be considering this.. Having one of each is the way to go IMO..

Guys I appreciate you'lls input and yes it's a public forum. But I'm not going to get in a comparison debate between the 2. If you've driven both you already know the differences between the 2, if you haven't, then you simply dont.. I have and I know what they are.. I will say this, as far as handling goes, it really isn't that close. The 11 handles that much better with SRA..

Still taking offers fellas.. Will be going to the bank next week (working nights all this week) if nothing realistic comes up. Remember open to any reasonable offer depending on condition of your ride. Cash number is by no means set in stone. Thanks again..

Wow. Amazing that you are going this direction. From what I read on here about the 2011 GT, it seems that all the new GT owners prefer the GT over the Terminator, but whatever floats your boat. If mine had low mileage, I would consider it.

I know what you're saying, and that's the reason I have the 11 now because I do prefer it to the Termie. But I want my own shop more than havin the "latest and greatest" if you know what I mean. And it's not like I would be taking a huge step down overall. In comfort, sure, but like I mentioned before, they're right there performance wise. Plus it's my toy not like a car I would rely for transporting the kiddos or anything. As is I'm the only one driving my Mustang. Both my wife and I use her Yukon for everything else pretty much. Plus I have my daily beater for work..

If you would like, PM me your mileage and an offer. You live in Houston and I live in Amarillo so you never know.. Anyways, cheers..
