Ive been waiting forever to get a cobra. Finally picked one up. It has its pros and cons. Its an 03 black vert. Its night time right now so i cant really get any good pics up, i will tomorrow. It has an aftermarket hood, Intake, and I think exhaust, (not sure how loud they are stock), a clutch, and it looks like shelby cobra wheels.. Not sure how old the clutch is so ill take it easy for a little i guess.. The number one con of this thing is, the rear cobra bumper was replaced with a normal GT rear bumper. It says mustang instead of Cobra. It looks retarded, anybody know any website that sells them for a decent price. I looked on ebay and theyre like 700 bucks. Also im not real sure if the upper pulley is stock, but im assuming it is because it has the stock pulley cover on still. Sorry for the long post.

If you can actually hear the exhaust its probably not stock.

Car sounds fishy though

I checked out the vin online and it checked out. Everything seems legit. Didnt the 99-01s have a 5 speed?

I will post up the Vin if you guys want to look at it. Its real, the year, the motor, and model all check out in the vin.

Other than that, Im pretty sure it has an exhaust. I can definitely hear it when im moving. So with that said i probably need to get it tuned and make sure its running right. Im probably going to buy a wideband for it. Do you guys recommend anything specific? Im lookin around on lethalperformance. I really dont know a whole lot about these cars considering i came from a Trans Am... So any info is nice to know. Also how much boost do they usually run stock? Do they max out the stock boost gauge?

Congrats on the car, but idk what cheap ass cobra owner would replace his bumper with a GT bumper. It deff wasent for looks, but to save money. Car sounds a little fishy.
Either way congrats and enjoy it!!

The car fax is clean. 0 accidents. The dealership told me the guy who traded the cobra in was about 65 years old. He probably backed into something cracking the bumper and replaced it not knowing wtf he was doing or had someone else replace not knowing wtf they were doing. That my 2 cents. Im not worried about the bumper too much, everything else is legit on the car. I will get pics up today after i get back home from work. Thanks guys
