Got the flathead back from the engine shop. Can't wait to drive it, here's a short video.

Looks awesome. I plan to build a rat rod with a blown flathead after I graduate. How many ponies do you think your pushin?

Very, Very nice. What body is that? Please tell me that you are going to at least paint it. I've never been a big fan of the "Rat" rod look, but it still looks like it's going to be a nice ride regardless.

just had an 8BA built for my dads '50 ford coupe hot rod and it put out 243hp 310 lb/ft I love these old flathead motors.

that flathead ford V8 was a high tech marvel when it was introduced. always a favorite till the fifties 8 cyl overhead valve engines came out. i've worked on quite a few of them, this brought back memories, thanks
