Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday
Even if the FiST and FoST and Mustang were lame ducks in terms of sales, as long as they broke even or made a little money, it helped drive the lay customers back to them. If a guy graduates from college and his parents buy him a car, he wants sporty. So lets say a FoST. While at the dealership, dad sees an F150 he likes. Then mom sees an explorer.. and tada. 1 car sale turns into 3.
Now they have absolutely nothing not mustang or F150 or CUV to drive people to the lots. If you don't want a full sized or a cross over or a mustang, you're SOL on a Ford lot. Which is ridiculous really.
Not to mention how they absolutely ruined a good thing with the Gen 3 coyote turning out to be a turd to the point they are killing it off.
Pretty soon they will be a carless, v8-less, CUV manufacturer with no redeeming qualities. I love my F150 but next time we are going Hyundai, Honda, BMW, or Toyota. Ford's a joke.
