Oh, and maybe there are some petroleum industry experts on here that can speak to this point. I haven't been able to find info on it. Anyway...
In a recent VDH podcast, it was discussed that petroleum professional(s) have stated that it would take ~10 years to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserves (SPR).
Apparently as some think, you just don't buy crude oil and dump it in tanks.
It requires special types of crude, its processing, and layering, to achieve proper, safe, and usable long term petroleum storage.

$3.05 at the Sams Club. Similar prices here and there. Other places are still scalping at $3.35- 3.40

Local station is 2.49 a gallon for 87 and 3.99 for premium. If I go into town it’s 3.01 for 87
Up $.20 per gallon since last week. Paid $2.79 this morning, vs $2.59 last week.
Prices been dropping regularly around me. Down to 2.89 for 87 at Sunoco and Mobil.
Muat be election season soon.
You know it. War in the Middle east, ships being attacked, and prices are dropping. Yep, the US government has no control of oil prices, this all basic economics.
Ours has gone up like $.20, and oil has been down. Heck, it's down $3.35 right now at $70.46 Barrel
