Our friends over at Whipple sent us some full color renderings of their upcoming 2015 Mustang GT supercharger kit. Though the renderings aren't 100% production accurate they should give you an idea what the blower, with a 1900 cfm oval throttle body, will look like in some of the custom color options.

What size is the blower that needs a 1900cfm T/B ? ( SCJ mono is 1797cfm )
Base Whipple blowers are black, chrome adds $ 300, powder adds $ 100 on top of that.
.
...................................Why didn't Ford build it that way from the factory ??

Whipple sent over a few more renderings, this time with the optional polished finish:

I thing this one looks great, but it would be tough for me to not get one of the color matched options.

Lots of detail there. Drawing each individual part takes quite a bit of time. But nothing beats putting them together into an assembly in front of you and not having any errors! Travis, those sketches and renderings are gorgeous! Do you know which CAD software they are using? Next time you talk to them see if they'll send you a section view lengthwise, please!

I'm still in the learning/research stage of considering a SC for my ordered S550.

If I get of these installed, does it void the Ford Factory warranty on the car?

Travis, that is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to see if those sketches were just surface models or if they were complete, and complete they are! Wow, there is a lot of time spent on that assembly! You can't hide anything with a section view. Very impressive - thanks for that.

Did Dustin say what program he uses? Looks like Solidworks but it could be Pro-E, Catia, etc. Just curious what they use.

That's not exactly how a warranty works, but don't expect Ford to cover a windowed block.

Did not say which program.
