Yes, the turbo is directly into the intake. I have found that the stock cooling system is very effecient. I had a the intake temps datalogged when it was tuned and they remained low. Heat soak isnt much of an issue unless your doing some heavy duty autocrossing or back to back drag racing without letting it cool some. This was made to be a street beast and has been very efficient so far.
