If that's what it takes, so be it. Lets also do the same with gasoline. Show people, no, teach people elections have consequences and electing a jackass certainly does have consequence.
Have you seen 2000 mules? Everyone acting like we can vote these criminals out need to watch that movie ASAP.

I’ll take 100 on midterms.

Let’s talk about terms.

Winning party has both house and senate?

I really don’t gamble and have no idea what will happen, but I’ll throw $100 bucks away in hopes these *** loving Dems go down.

Terms work for me and my name is not Alex Arvan.

With summer coming and people planning vacations high fuel prices will have a lot of people staying home or traveling much less. This will have a big effect on tourism throughout the country

A career politician is in the w.h. and people expected sunshine and cupcakes? I'm of the feeling that a crash is better if it happens now rather than lingering for a while then hitting.

Rather than taking responsibility, the blame is constantly shifted. Putin might be their scapegoat but reality (I know that word is greek to them) says no.

335ttCobra or something like that. The dude that was always here with crazy theories and guaranteed a Trump victory then disappeared when he lost and he owed hundreds of dollars in bets.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this is all very Cloward-Piven-esque. It's only been a little over year since POTATUS took over and everything is going down in flames.

Do you guys think these high gas prices are part of a electric cars "push"? I could see it. And also see consumers now wanting them more than ever.

I wish all the trucks drivers in the United States would go on strike for 1 week. Absolutely zero trucks on the road. Could you imagine the chaos.

I hope it is just getting started. Sure, this shit is affecting my decisions but in a small way. I will gladly welcome suffering as long as it destroys the people that voted for this.

Agreed. However, I doubt the people who voted for this is capable of connecting the dots.

You neglect to factor in how brain dead these people are in the first place. They are incapable of applying logic or reason to reality. They'll just puppet whatever they are told and believe it. It's Putin, Trump, Goldstein, etc., fault.

What we're seeing is the result of the push. The federal government has already telegraphed that emissions regulations are going to necessitate an EV changeover in the near future.

From the energy company perspective, why invest in drilling and refining capacity if it's all going away in the near future?

Couple that with the government being harsh on domestic energy production in general, and the prices you see are what you get.

Customers are going to get them by 2035 or earlier whether they like it or not. This is just an added bonus for the government.

It would have been much less painful if we just let EV market share develop as the technology and infrastructure could support it, but that bell can't be unrung now.

They are allready trying to temper us here in Kansas about rolling blackouts this summer. This hasn't been an issue when we had coal, nat gas and a single nuclear reactor.
But now all we get are wind turbines, as since the Obama administration we get groups from out of state (Sierra club) that sue over new coal or gas plants and since this state has traditionally had many smaller coops they cannot fight long. One set of coal plants was supposed to be built near Holcomb, Kansas (way out west) and they fought over a decade before going "f it, were out."
So they tout of the amazing increase in renuable energy in this state, and at least half is generated from windmills now. But leave out no new traditional plants have come online, whole others have been forced closed ove rthe past 12-14 years.

To top it off Siemens has a plant in Hutchinson that makes the nacelles and one in Iowa that makes blades for these stupid wind turbines and both are shutting down/ laying everyone off this summer.

Figuring The cost per KwH is ridiculous as the formula has so many variables. Evergy has no posted rate per KwH.

If you are in the suburbs or city get talking with your neighbors, like people did in the past and get a game plan.
Everyone dreams of loan wolf senario, but if crap does hit the fan in town survival is easier with a group, it's not just numerical advantage but having specialists, ie a nurse, a cop, someone who garden's, people who can hunt and trap as well as a larger force to defend will up everyone's chances of survival. But keep plenty of contingency plans.

Truck drivers or UPS/Fed Ex

If either of those stopped you'd get the attention of millions. Sure, truck drivers could actually shut the country down in no time though.
