I wish there were some gas wars going on around here. I drove back from IN to TN yesterday and the best I saw was $1.49 for 87 octane at a Pilot, which meant I paid $1.69 for 92 octane.
1.59 here. figured it would shoot up with opec cutting production but the cost still continues to drop. I personally think the cost of gas is what screwed up economy
I saw 1.39 at a station here in GA, my dad said he saw 1.37 for regular somewhere too.
Either way enjoy them while you can, oil will shoot back up to $80 around spring/summer. Them opec bastards will make sure of that, even if they have to only make 100 barrels of oil a day, they will get their inflated prices back so they can build more snow resorts in desert.
Around here it seems they are stuck at $1.69.9/10ths per gallon. The stations don't want to budge any lower. It makes me mad because just 20 miles away gas is a lot cheaper. At least I get .10 cents off per gallon because I use our main gas stations debit type card. It is a big saver.
