Holy shit this is a wall of brutal truth about women and marriage!

A little over 2 years into married life for me at age 35 and we have a 5 month old son. I have no reason to believe it won't work out with my wife but if it doesn't, I sure as hell am not ever getting married again or having children with any other woman.

Yeah I thought that way once. First marriage didn't last (both very young) and swore never again after what she put me through. I'm a loner by nature and never "need" to be in a relationship so the idea didn't bother me. Fast forward 22 years and I just celebrated my 15th anniversary with my wife and couldn't be happier still.

My buddies wife cheated on him. She wouldn't even admit it. He waited a YEAR (even when I told him to bail), tried to work it out with TWO shrinks. He's FINALLY cutting the cord with her in December. Some dudes just don't get it. If she cheats on you .....she's gonna do it again. These hoes don't ****ing respect. My advise to any guy would be to pull the chute ASAP. If my wife did that shit I'd be gone the very next day. Gets real complicated with children though.

Oh trust me...I went down this road twice. 1st marriage, the ex was bipolar and tried to kill me...2nd marriage was the one with the cheater I detailed above. When I say I'm done...I'm done. I cant get back the last 20 years and I'm financially at the point in my life where I would never expose myself to the risk of marriage. Remember this little tidbit, women initiate over 70% of the divorces in this country. Why? Because they can. Why do men pay alimony and child support in 91% of all divorces? There is inherently almost zero risk in a divorce for women, while men are routinely court raped. What benefit does marriage hold for a man? Seriously? You don't need to be married to get laid or have kids. So where is the benefit? It's a complete scam. Like I said before...1st marriages have a divorce rate of 51% in the 1st 10 years. Over 70% of those divorces are initiated by women. 2nd marriages, the divorce rate is 68% in the 1st 10 years with women initiating over 80% of those. Men need to wake the **** up.

An old cliche that I've used for the last 22 years............Don't buy the cow, if you're getting the milk for free.

When I was introduced to my wife, my friend asked when I was going to get married again. I told him it would be a cold day in Hell. We got married in Hell, Mi. in February.

That's a wall of truth. I know a pastor that quit doing weddings because he is tired of being a part of commitments in front of God that people weren't keeping.

The feminist movement and the selfishness of modern society has destroyed marriage. That pastor holds his pre-marriage counciling sessions in the community center clubhouse where we live and I've heard enoigh of them to know his speech by heart. The sessions are very focused on the women needing to provide the tools the man needs to be a good husband. Thanks to femenism that's something women don't do anymore and marriages are suffering because of it.

    Huh?
You’re either a good husband or not.

Your wife has nothing to do with it to me.

I can’t figure out what that means.

Sounds Pentecostal to me. Women are not equal to men.

Time does heal all wounds, but stop stepping on the same rake. If shes worth it and made one mistake I'd forgive and move on with her. People make mistakes and they are usually a reaction to some other problem. If it's part if her personality or there was no logical reason for the distance it will never change, trust me, and that rake you keep stepping on is actually a hoe

Provide the tools to the man? See, that shit pisses me off. It's basically implying that men are the problem, or the lesser of the couple, or need to be broken, or something. It's not a one way street. Women aren't better partners than men by default.
