I currently run 245/40/18 in the front (rubs a little bit at full lock) and 265/35/18 in the rear (no rubbing). I think I may go with 285's in the rear next time I buy new tires, but only if I don't have to remove the quad shocks.

98$vt are you runnign a 315 out back? will they fit alright on a 10" rim. im not going to run anything under a 295 for sure. i need something that hooks because i make 450 to the wheels and anything smaller is pointless. on the 17x9s i run 275a now and all the car wants to do is spin

My old wheel package.

275/35/18 all around. Not a single issue, except MINOR rubbing on the inter bumper cover at FULL lock. Didn't bother me a bit.

question...

I run a 265/35/18 up front and a 285/35 in the rear. Go 295 you'll be much happier

I just bought Saleen 18x9/18x10 setup and was gonna do the 265/35 front, 295/35 back on my 96 Cobra. You having any issues up front with 265/35?? Ive done 1 1/2 drop with all the Steeda goodies, so wasn't sure if you have a rub? Thanks for your time!!

On my 96 cobra I run a 265 up front on an 18x9, and I run a 295 out back on an 18x10. No rubbing front or rear at all. It's lowered on Steeda sport springs. I will probably run a 305 MT DR on the rear the next go around.

I'm going to be running 275/35/18 fronts on 18x9.5's and 315/30/18 on 18x11's. I would personally not run anything smaller than a 295/35/18 on the rears with 18x10. For the fronts I would run a 275/35/18 or maybe a 265.

This....

I run 275/315. no bulge.. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't run any smaller than 275 on the front.

I have a 295 on an 18x10 rear, perfect fit. I also have a 245 tire on an 18x9 front, would like to have a 255 but its not bad as is. There are tons of ppl using the 275 up front, seems big but evidently it works fine. I just like it to be clear that the rears are wider and I don't want any more tire pushing to the outer edge of the front fenders than I have to.

fronts: 18x9 DD Cobra R, BFG KDW2 tires, 265/35
rears: 18x10 DD Cobra R, BFG KDW2 tires, 295/35

Dropped w/ Ford C Springs and Steeda stuff. I get just a touch of rub at full lock on the sway bar. I had 275/40 BFG's at first, but I was rubbing the inner fender. I think a 275/35 might have worked, but I went to a 265 to play it safe. The tires are flush with the fenders and have just the right amount of bulge (for me that is). The back tires fit just fine.
