Good News!

I got some great news yesterday afternoon. It looks like I'll be leaving the ranks of the unemployed soon. They still have to finalize some internal paperwork, but it looks like the Nevada DOT will be offering me a job next week.

I'm very happy, it has been entirely too long since I earned a paycheck.

Sort of, I'll be working in Elko, NV (I-80 middle of state) until spring, then in Wendover (I-80 close to Utah border), I won't be looking for anything permanent any time soon, but I will be living up there and traveling back to Vegas pretty often, it's a long drive (7 hrs, 450 miles), but I'll be making it round trip every couple weeks so I can spend time with my family.

Thanks, guys, I was just formally offered the job, I've got 10 days to work out the logistics, cause I start on Nov 15th. Now, I've got to get down to their local office to get the paperwork for the drug test.
