Velgen VMB5's with Sumitomo tires. I love the look and the ride is much better. You have no idea how inferior the Goodyears are until you switch them out.

not my cup of tea but props to you for upgrading the brakes since they are front and center now.

Thanks. They're Willwood 6 piston all around with stainless steel lines and cross drilled rotors. Black wheels on a black car was never my thing either, but it just looks right on this one. Looks even better in person.

Looking good man!

I love the black on black look.

Keep up the good work and let me know if you ever need anything.

Velgen VMB5 with Sumitomo HTR-Z III tires
20x9 and 20x10.5

275/35R20
255/35R20
+35mm front offset
+45mm rear offset

I went with the Sumitomo because they had pretty good ratings and their speed rating is higher. I did a moderately hard launch on them and they stuck better than the GY's. I'm having to let her sit for 10 days due to work, but when I return, I'll put her through the paces and see how well she handles.

Edit: Thanks for the pics!

Sorry for the thread-jack, but I want to do something similar with my brakes. I'd appreciate any details you're willing to share (e.g., part numbers, vendor, price, lessons learned, etc). Please PM me if you'd rather not post any of that. Thanks!

No problem. I would, but I got lucky when I bought the car (with 500 miles on it), because the brakes had already been done as a factory option. I don't have the specifics, but they certainly stop yesterday! Well worth the price.

Factory option? From Shelby American maybe. I absolutely hate the appearance of the rear brakes. Fronts are fine, but if I could find an option for the rear that's not over $2k it would be worth it to me.
